Build your own website

As an internet user why not create your own website. You can use it to let people know about your hobbies or anything else you want to share. It's not as difficult as you might think and in most cases all it will cost you is the phone call to up load it to your web site.

Now before you think this is a joke, let us explain. Most I S P's (internet service providers) the people that provide your internet access, give you some free web space. You will need to contact your I S P to find out your web space address and how to access it.

To build your web page you will need a software program that can save files with the HTML or HTM file extension. This can be your word processor or a program such as Frontpage Express. If Frontpage Express is not already on your P C it can be found on most versions of the M S Windows C D. To install it click on the add \ remove programs icon in control panel and select windows setup. To upload your page to your web site you require an F T P (File Transfer Protocol) program. You can download FTP Explorer from our software page and it's free to home users. So give it a go and see what you can do.
